In it’s original form, the ball pit is over 30,000 balls, 10×20 feet and two feet deep.
Easy to build, light-ish to move and a whole world of silly.
It is big, bright and has brought so many humans together.
While building big art has always been a form of flow in my life, this is my favourite expression so far!
Over the years we have built a number of other configurations; from basement installations to deeper more float tank like experiences.
The fun never stops with interactive art – from our neighbours reaction the day of the first build, to the T-rex fights, diving competitions, shoot-outs and study sessions – these balls have seen a lot!

Events & fundraisers
The ball pit had a few parties planned in 2020.
Clearly though, climbing in to a pit of balls is a less than stellar idea right now for the general public, so all in person events are currently on hold.
In the meantime, planning is underway for our next instalment! We have some interactive additions planned for the ball pit. A number of fundraisers will be thrown online (and in person when safe) to make this a ridiculous reality.
- April 25 – Online ball pit FUNdraiser: The Corona Ball

- Live stream music, workshops, and performances
